Daniel S. Cartwright is recognized nationally as a top trial lawyer known for his exacting preparation, attention to detail and tenacious pursuit of justice. Dorothy S. Seely is an attorney and special projects manager with the firm. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from South Texas College of Law in 1996. At South Texas, Ms. Seely was an Assistant Editor of the South Texas Law Review and was also a member of the Order of the Lytae. After practicing law for two years in the areas of general civil litigation, plaintiff's personal injury, school law, and products liability, Ms. Seely pursued and earned a Master's Degree, cum laude, from the University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work in 2000. While at the University of Houston, Ms. Seely was elected to the Phi Kappa Phi academic honor society and completed three clinical social work internships at Baylor College of Medicine, the Aldine Independent School District and The Women's Home, a long-term residential rehabilitation program. Ms. Seely serves as an Advisory Board member of the Council for Alcohol & Drugs-Houston and provides volunteer assistance with the Council's events. Ms. Seely's combined backgrounds in law and social work allow her to provide strong advocacy and empathetic support for the firm's clients throughout the litigation process.
